My Story
Colette recently graduated from the Behavioural Neuroscience program at UBC, where she studied brain development and function, with a focus on the long-term effects of early life experiences. She works as a Behaviour Interventionist, supporting children with autism through play-based programs that build communication, emotional regulation, and daily living skills. Colette is also a Research Assistant at BC Children’s Hospital, where she manages clinical studies in the Emergency Department focused on improving care and outcomes for children and families. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, yoga, painting, and spending time outdoors. Joining the Flavourful Science team was a natural choice, as it combines her passion for science, cooking, and creating engaging experiences for others.
