Don't Choke!

Teaching students about choking safety

Choking is the third most common cause of accidental death in children, in Canada.

We have teamed up with Dr. Jeffrey Ludemann (MDCM, FRCSC, clinical professor of otolaryngology at the University of British Columbia and quality of care lead for the Division of Otolaryngology at BC Children's Hospital) to create lesson plans that teach students about choking anatomy and physiology as well as aerodigestive anatomy.

Let's teach students about this to prevent accidents!
