My Story

Growing up in a Romanian household, food has always been a big part of Andrea’s life. She loves the creativity and hands-on side of cooking, especially experimenting with new ideas and making something from scratch.
Andrea graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and currently works in the robotics and UAV sectors. Alongside her engineering work, she has spent years tutoring students in math and science, and loves making these subjects feel accessible and approachable.
Andrea enjoys working with students and sharing her love of food and science in a fun, hands-on way. Outside of work, she can usually be found baking, cycling, running, hiking, or embroidering.
